WHO WE ARE

Young Power Association is a nongovernmental organization conformed by young professionals and students from local universities in the city of Medellin. These young people have decided to unite their volunteer endeavors and work on behalf of the children of a neighborhood called "Guayaquil".

The neighborhood "Guayaquil" in Medellín-Colombia is probably the most critical/dangerous area in the City, and one of the most critical urban areas of the Country. Guayaquil is well known locally as a focus point for prostitution, violence, vagabondism, and drug dealing. Unfortunately, there are dozens of children exposed to this hostile environment.
