Editorial:
This is the second number of this publication,
in the first three months the main page was visited times,
considering that surely many visits are
from the same people, we can see that is not a great number, but as I
know that gum wrappers collecting is not
popular as a hobby, I think it's not bad, and I hope that with the time
the number of readers will be greater,
and more important , that collectors will be more interested and will
participle.
I received many congratulating and encouraging
mails from fellow collectors after the first issue, but I must to
say also that almost none collaboration
in the form of articles, pictures etc., so I invite you collectors to
participate in a more active way, and
please don't worry about language or ways of writing, since our
publication is an amateur media to share
interests in the hobby , and at this moment I beg your pardon for all
the mistakes in language and edition that
I make, since English is not my language and I am not a journalist,
only that is the best way to have a contact
with people from different countries.
During this time, I began to receive opinions
that justify the existence of this media, like the mail from Steve
Fletcher about the Guiness World records
that surely will bring some reactions among the collectors, and I
hope that in the next issues we will have
more different opinions....
In the next issue will be a new section dedicated to identfy gum wrappers that are difficult to know from which country they are, or which firm produced them in which period, etc. So , if you have wrappers you want to know about them, send a scanned picture to the GWP and will be published.
Hoping you have a good reading and happy collecting:
